I heard something the other day that I had never really paid any attention to before, March 1st marks the beginning of meteorological spring. I always know spring to be just around the corner when these little reticulata iris bloom in my garden. A happy sight indeed!
Yes, we can all start to do the happy dance! I have so much more energy during the part of the year when we have more daylight hours! Do you know that the longest day of the year ... June 20 ... has about 15 hours of daylight! Woohoo! It just keeps getting better until then when we start to lose a minute of daylight a day!
