Lori over at Studio Waterstone is hosting a blog hop on Sundays called I Heart Macro/ I Heart Closeup which i am going to link up to with this closeup photo of my Earnhardt camellia blooming today.
I am a huge fan of the work of Georgia O'Keefe's flower series and love to try to capture those images with my camera. I don't have a macro lens but shot this with my telephoto.
Hop on over and join in the fun!
What a fantastic image, Laura! I, too, love Georgia O'Keefe. Thanks so much for visiting and participating.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week.
Awesome shot of the flower! I love Georgia O'Keefe too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture...I like O'Keefe also and this picture looks like it belongs in one of your books.
ReplyDeleteLovely camellia! It's so pepperminty :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment on my blog. Macro is very cool because it makes the focal distance shallower and you get a nice blurred background.
ReplyDeleteI love you camellia. I have a yard full of them, but none with such pristine blooms as this one.
This is so pretty! Beautiful colors.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot and flower!!
ReplyDeleteOH my GORGEOUS!!!!! Stunning color!!!
