For this week's I heart macro I thought I would share the fruits of my labor (pun intended)
If you remember this post you'll remember I planted some pots of strawberries right near my steps so that all summer long we hopefully will be able to just pick strawberries as we walk by.
Well, yesterday the first one ripened and before we ceremoniously cut it in half to share the sweetness, I took out my camera for today's i heart macro post.
Some we planted are june bearing and the rest are everbearing meaning we should have strawberries most of the summer. Yum!
Hop on over to Studio Waterstone to join in the macro fun!

strawberries! yum! we have been trying to grow some here, but our weather and lack of soil is not very conducive to growing much. We have managed to pick 3 raspberries from our bush. so much for fruit this year. very nice for you!
ReplyDeleteLaura, I'll bet that strawberry was delish. LOVELY picture.
ReplyDeleteo-o-o, I heart strawberries! Luscious photos!
ReplyDeleteLaura, that red, ripe strawberry shot is fantastic! And you grew it!!! That's amazing, I'm so impressed (I do not have a green thumb)....my son would love it too. We caught him yet again looking up plants online this morning. Now how many 10 year olds would do that? :-)
ReplyDeleteYou are SO GOOD at this. Sadly, I decided to sell my camera. I just realized I was a failure at remembering anything.
